Night Bingo review: 75-ball bingo you can play any time

No waiting for a session, no room to join. Night Bingo is a solo 75-ball game with a hostess, a glass cage and a jackpot for a full card. How it works.

Published 4 October 2026 · Updated 5 October 2026 · Nocturn Play

Night Bingo is Nocturn Play's take on 75-ball bingo, played solo, whenever you like: choose 1 to 4 cards of 5×5 squares, and 45 balls are drawn from a glass cage. Five patterns pay (line, two lines, four corners, X and full card), a golden ball acts as a joker, and a full card within those 45 balls wins the jackpot of 7,500× the bet per card. It launched on 3 October 2026 and is free to play on nocturnplay.com.

A lounge, a hostess, a cage of balls

The setting is a late-night lounge: velvet, soft light, a hostess with a microphone calling the numbers and a glass cage that spins before each ball comes out. It has the warmth of a bingo hall without the crowd, and the calls are quick enough that a full game never drags.

How to play 75-ball bingo here

  1. Pick how many cards to play, from 1 to 4, and the stake per card.
  2. Each card is a 5×5 grid of numbers with a free square in the centre.
  3. Start the draw: 45 balls leave the cage one after another.
  4. Mark the numbers automatically, or tap them yourself with the dabber. If you miss one, it is marked for you at the end, so a slow finger never costs you.
  5. When the draw ends, every pattern completed on each card is paid.

The patterns that pay

  • Line: a full row, column or diagonal.
  • Two lines: any two complete lines.
  • Four corners: the four corner squares.
  • X: both diagonals at once.
  • Full card: every square, which within the 45 balls is the jackpot.

Patterns add up on a card, and each pays once per card. A card with an X has, by definition, also completed lines, and all of them count.

The golden ball

Sometimes the cage releases a golden ball. It works as a joker: on every card in play it marks the two squares that help you most. With four cards running, that is eight helpful marks at once, and it often turns a nearly finished pattern into a paid one.

A game, ball by ball

You play three cards at 20 cents each. After 15 balls, card one has its top row done: a line. Around ball 28 the golden ball appears; on card two it marks the last two corners, completing four corners, and on card three it fills two squares of a diagonal. By ball 40, card three has both diagonals for an X. The draw ends at 45 with no full card. Result: a line on card one, four corners on card two, an X on card three plus the lines it contains, all added together.

Who will like Night Bingo

Bingo regulars who don't want to wait for the next scheduled game, and slot players who fancy something slower and more social in mood. The pace is gentle, the rules fit on one screen, and there is nothing to buy: no extra balls, no bonus purchase. The choice that really shapes a session is how many cards you play. More cards cover more numbers but multiply the cost per game, so many players settle on two and adjust from there.

75-ball, 90-ball and bingo rooms

75-ball bingo is the American format: 5×5 cards headed B-I-N-G-O, with patterns as the goal. 90-ball, popular in the UK, uses 9×3 tickets and pays one line, two lines and a full house. Most online bingo still happens in rooms with scheduled games and other players. Night Bingo is instant and solo: you start when you want and play your cards against the draw. If you like non-reel games, our Firefly Sweets review covers another one.

On a phone

Bingo cards read well on a vertical screen: upright, the cards stack and the latest ball sits at the top. The dabber works with a tap. Same HTML5 game on tablets and computers.
