In-depth review: Fox Festival review: plinko meets a Japanese lantern festival

What kind of game is it?

Fox Festival, released on 4 October 2026, is a plinko or pachinko-style ball game. The board is vertical: 14 rows of lanterns act as pegs, there are 5 drop points on the rail at the top, and 9 pockets wait at the bottom. The rule is simple: the further from the centre the ball lands, the more it pays. Pick a drop point, launch, and watch it bounce.

One thing to know before you start planning. The drop point changes the path the ball takes, never your chances. The result is fixed on our server the moment you bet, and the bouncing ball is there to show it to you, not to decide it.

Gates, windmills and foxes

The board is not just pegs. Torii gates hang on it, marked ×2, ×3, ×5 and ×10: a ball that passes through one has its win multiplied, and a ball that goes through two gets both, multiplied together. Pinwheel windmills give the ball a gust toward a better pocket.

Then the foxes. Three spirits sit among the lanterns: the Ember Fox, the Moon Fox and the Ink Fox. Brush past one and, once the ball lands, the Fox Procession begins.

The Fox Procession

The Procession is the bonus round. Balls rain down the board, and every peg they touch raises a shared multiplier. Lanterns light up along the way, and each one lit brings another ball into the rain. The counters at the side show the balls left, the current multiplier and the lanterns. Everything the Procession wins goes to your balance when the last ball drops.

If you can't wait for a fox, the Procession button lets you buy it straight away; the fox leading the parade is then drawn at random.

The jackpot in the middle

The centre pocket is a special case. Land there and it opens a four-level jackpot: Bell, Moon, Sun and, at the top, the Grand Fox. The levels are shown at the top left of the screen for your current bet.

Bets, speed and limits

There are 7 bet levels. Autoplay can run a series of drops and stop by itself when the Procession opens, and turbo shortens the fall. The maximum win is 5,000× the bet. It plays in the browser on any phone or desktop, and you can try it for free right here.

Prefer a game where you make a choice that feels like skill? Altitude Zero asks you when to cash out, while Night Bingo is the other no-reels pick in our range.

For casinos, Fox Festival is part of the Nocturn Play range on SoftAggregator, active by default since its launch day, so it can sit in a mini-games or arcade section next to crash titles.

Frequently asked questions

Does the drop point change my chances in Fox Festival?

No. It changes the ball's path only. The result is decided when you bet; the animation shows it.

How do you start the Fox Procession?

Let the ball touch one of the three spirit foxes (Ember, Moon or Ink), or buy the Procession with its button.

What do the torii gates do?

They multiply the win by ×2, ×3, ×5 or ×10. A ball that passes through two gates gets both multipliers, multiplied together.

Is there a jackpot in Fox Festival?

Yes. The centre pocket opens a four-level jackpot: Bell, Moon, Sun and Grand Fox. The game's maximum win is 5,000× the bet.
