Jelly creatures on the loose
Gummy Lab Outbreak, made by Nocturn Play, fills a big seven-by-seven board with jelly. Wins come from groups, not lines: five or more identical creatures touching up, down, left or right pay, and the larger the group, the larger the prize. Winning creatures burst, the ones above slide down and fresh jelly drops in from the top. As long as new clusters keep forming, the spin keeps going. A round can pay up to 5,000× the bet.
The mutation chain
Next to the grid stands a meter with four tubes. After every tumble one tube fills, and one creature on the board swells into a 2×2 giant. A giant counts as four creatures, which makes it easy to complete a cluster, and it also doubles the cluster it belongs to. Two giants in the same cluster make it ×4; three or more make it ×8. A long run of tumbles therefore feeds itself: more tumbles, more giants, bigger multipliers.
Outbreak!
When the fourth tube fills, the lab loses control. OUTBREAK flashes across the screen and every creature of one small species turns into another kind. Suddenly a board of scattered colours can become a sea of the same jelly, and clusters appear everywhere. Then the meter empties and the chain starts again.
Free spins and the lab multiplier
Serum flasks are the scatters. Three, four, or five and more anywhere on the board give 10, 12 or 15 free spins. In the feature the meter is not reset between spins, so the mutation chain carries over, and every OUTBREAK adds one to the lab multiplier, which applies to your wins for the rest of the round. Three or more flasks during the free spins add another five. If you want to go straight to the lab, the Buy bonus button gives 10 free spins for 100× the bet.
