One trap on every floor

Nocturn Tower is an instant game from Nocturn Play, with no reels and no paylines. You set a bet, step inside and face a row of doors. Exactly one door per floor hides a trap; every other door is safe. Choose a safe one and you go up a floor, and the multiplier attached to your stake climbs with you. Open the trap and the round ends there. Between floors, the Cash out button pays the bet times the multiplier of the floor you are standing on, and reaching the very top cashes out for you automatically.

Four levels of risk

The Risk selector decides how many doors you face, and that shapes the whole climb:

  • Easy: four doors per floor over ten floors. Three of the four are safe, so the multiplier grows gently.
  • Normal: three doors per floor, ten floors.
  • Extreme: two doors per floor, ten floors. Every pick is a straight coin toss and the multiplier roughly doubles with each success.
  • Legend: two doors per floor and fourteen floors. It is the only level that can reach the top prize of 10,000× the bet.

Fewer doors mean bolder steps, and the game rewards each of them with a bigger jump.

The real decision is when to stop

There is no pattern to read: the trap can be behind any door, on any floor, whatever happened the round before. If you would rather not choose, the Random door button picks for you. What matters is the moment you leave. Taking the money on the third floor of Easy is a modest, steady habit; pushing one more floor on Extreme can double what you hold or wipe it out. That tug between greed and caution is the whole game, and it is surprisingly hard to put down.

Auto mode with limits

Switch from Manual to Auto and the tower climbs on its own. You choose how many rounds to play and the floor where each one cashes out, then add an optional stop if a win reaches a set amount, or if losses do. Press Start auto and the rounds run back to back until the count is done or a limit is touched; Stop auto hands control back at once. The screen also shows today's record and a feed of live wins, and a new record gets its own little fanfare.

Climb in your browser

Nocturn Tower opens in any recent browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to download. You can play it for free on this page. If stopping at the right moment is your thing, Midnight Harvest is another climb with a cash-out, and Velvet Vault hides its traps on a grid. Every other title waits on the games page.

Frequently asked questions

How many doors does each floor have?

It depends on the risk level: four on Easy, three on Normal and two on Extreme and Legend. Whatever the level, only one door per floor is a trap.

What is the biggest win in Nocturn Tower?

10,000× the bet. Only the Legend level, with its fourteen floors, can get that far.

Can I cash out before the top?

Yes, after any safe floor. If you reach the last floor of your level, the game cashes out for you.

How does auto play work?

Set the number of rounds and the floor to cash out at, add a stop on a win or a loss if you want one, then press Start auto.
