In-depth review: Comet Bingo review: chasing a quick Full House in the snow
What Comet Bingo is
Comet Bingo brings 90-ball bingo to a one-player screen at Nocturn Play: no shared room, no waiting list. You play 1 to 4 tickets in the British style, three rows of nine columns with 15 numbers each, and 45 comets numbered 1 to 90 are launched per game. Four corners, one line, two lines and the Full House pay; a fast Full House pays the most, up to 2,000× the ticket price, and a golden Great Comet can multiply every prize of the game.
The snow observatory
The scene is a stone terrace high in snowy mountains at night, with an old telescope, a lantern and a brass armillary sphere. A big silver ring floats on the left: each comet bursts out of it, its number large in the middle, then flies across the screen to every ticket holding that number. The mascot is a white seal pup in a navy cap and a blue scarf, who watches the sky with you and celebrates the big moments.
Tickets, price and the launch

Choose the ticket price and the number of tickets, from 1 to 4; the total bet is shown underneath. Each game deals fresh tickets. Press Launch and the 45 comets go out one by one, while a panel counts them and shows what a Full House would be worth right now. Four small stars above each ticket light up as it climbs from corners to lines to the full card. Auto and Turbo are there for longer sessions, and autoplay can be told to stop when a Great Comet appears.
The prizes
Each ticket pays its single best prize, and the prizes of all your tickets add up. Amounts are in multiples of the ticket price:
- Four corners: the first and last number of the top and bottom rows, 1×.
- One line: a full row of five numbers, 3×.
- Two lines: 25×.
- Full House, all 15 numbers: 2,000× within 40 comets, 1,000× in 41 to 43 comets, 500× in 44 or 45 comets.
That sliding Full House is what keeps the last stretch tense: the same card pays four times less if it closes on comet 44 rather than comet 40.
The Great Comet
Some games are crossed by a golden comet. It strikes somewhere between the 12th and the 40th comet, lights three neighbouring numbers in one row of every ticket, picking the spot that switches on the most numbers still dark, and then multiplies every prize of the game by 2, 3 or 5. A two-line ticket under a ×5 comet goes from 25× to 125×. Wins stay capped at 2,000× the ticket price per ticket, multiplier included.

Mobile play
Upright, the ring sits at the top and the tickets line up beneath it; sideways, the observatory comes back with the ring on the left. The game is HTML5 and plays the same on phone, tablet and desktop, in the browser.
