A storm over the prairie
Thunder Bison is a Nocturn Play slot with five reels, three rows and 243 ways to win. You do not need lines: a symbol pays when it appears on adjacent reels from the leftmost one, in any row, and every combination of positions counts as a separate way. The wild shows up on reels 2, 3 and 4 and replaces everything except the storm cloud and the coins. The top prize in a round is 5,000× the bet.
Thunder Coins and Hold & Win
Thunder Coins are the symbols to watch. Each one carries either a cash value or one of three named prizes: Mini, Minor or Major. Land six or more and Hold & Win begins. The coins lock in place and the empty cells spin on their own, three times. Every new coin that drops resets the count to three, so a good run can last a long while. When the respins run out, every coin on the board pays its value.
The stampede column
This is the game's signature. As soon as one column holds three coins, the herd charges across the board. The values of every coin on the screen, from all three rows, are gathered into a single super coin set in the middle of that column, and the cells above and below it open up again for new coins. Each column can stampede once, so in theory the herd can run five times in one Hold & Win, each time stacking the board's value into a bigger coin.
The Grand
Fill all fifteen cells and the Grand prize is added to everything else. Very rarely, a single coin can carry the Grand on its own.
Free spins and the bonus buy
Storm clouds act as scatters, and landing three, four or five delivers 8, 10 or 12 free spins, played on reels with more wilds and more Thunder Coins, which makes Hold & Win easier to reach. Three clouds or more in the feature add five spins. If you prefer, Buy bonus starts Hold & Win immediately with six Thunder Coins already on the board, for 51.5× the bet.
Ride out the storm
Thunder Bison loads straight into the browser, on mobile as well as desktop, and costs nothing to try from this page. Viking Raid is another ways slot with Hold & Win, and Savanna Stampede Megaways has a herd of its own. Our other titles are gathered on the games page.
