Firefly Sweets is a candy-matching casino game with drops, released on 3 October 2026. If you have ever played a match-three puzzle on your phone, the board will look familiar. The difference is money: every round is a bet, and the result is already decided when you place it.
One board, one winning swap
Each bet lays out a fresh 7×7 board. You swap two neighbouring sweets. Only one swap on the board wins, and your job is to find it. To be completely clear: the outcome of the round is fixed the moment you bet, and the swap you choose does not change the amount you win; finding it is how you reveal it. Stuck? After a while a hint lights up the right pair.
Three or more sweets in a line vanish and new ones fall from the top. Every new drop raises the round multiplier by one step, from ×1 up to ×10, so a long chain pays far more than the first match on its own.
The sweets: starry drop, moon twist, planet bonbon, owl macaron, jelly star and wrapped toffee.
Special sweets
- Shooting star: made by 4 in a line, it clears its whole row or column.
- Lantern: made by an L or T shape, it bursts and clears the sweets around it.
- Crystal: made by 5 or more, it wipes one colour off the board.
The firefly jar and Sugar Night
Drops and special sweets set fireflies free, and they fly into the jar. The jar empties after every round, so nothing carries over: free 5 fireflies within the same round and the shop lights up for Sugar Night. That happens about once every 127 rounds. You then get 8 moves where lit tiles pay double and the multiplier runs from ×2 up to ×60. It only goes up during Sugar Night, never down.
Numbers to know
The maximum win is 1,000× the bet, lower than our slots because rounds are short and wins come more steadily. There's no bonus buy: Sugar Night only comes from a round with 5 fireflies.
