In-depth review: Pearl Cascade plinko: how risk and rows shape your game

Pearl Cascade at a glance

Pearl Cascade is a plinko game from the Nocturn Originals line by Nocturn Play. You pick a bet, a risk level and a number of rows between 8 and 16, then press Bet. A pearl falls through a pyramid of crystal pegs, bouncing left or right at each row, and drops into one of the cups at the bottom. Each cup carries a multiplier, and your win is the bet times that number. The outer cups pay the most; on the 16-row High setting they reach several hundred times the bet.

Madame Olga's board

The host is Madame Olga, a coral-pink octopus with a pearl necklace and a little black top hat, juggling golden pearls with her tentacles. She floats above the top of the pyramid and drops every pearl herself, leaning after it as it falls. The cups are open clam shells that snap shut on the pearl when it lands, each with its multiplier on a coloured tag underneath: warm red at the edges, yellow towards the middle.

Rows and risk

Two menus shape the board. Rows sets how many pegs the pearl meets on the way down, from 8 to 16; more rows mean more cups and a wider spread between the middle and the edges. Risk sets how the payouts are spread across those cups. Low keeps the values close together, so no single landing swings the balance much. Medium stretches the curve. High pushes nearly everything to the edges: the centre cups pay a small fraction of the bet and the outer ones pay a fortune. The tags under the clams update the moment you change either setting, so you always see the full table before betting.

Several pearls at once

You don't have to wait for a pearl to land before dropping the next. Press Bet again while pearls are falling and they share the board, each one a separate bet with its own result. For a bigger burst there is the Tentacle Burst button: Olga releases six pearls together, six normal bets in one go, and the board fills with bouncing pearls.

Autobet and fairness

The Auto tab runs a series of drops on its own. You choose how many (0 for no limit), whether the bet resets or grows by a percentage after a win or a loss, and limits that stop the run on a set profit or loss. Each path is settled on our server, from cryptographic randomness, as soon as you bet; the pearl you watch is a replay of that result. The Fairness panel shows the ID of your last round.

Mobile and desktop

On a phone held upright, the pyramid fills the screen and the bet panel sits underneath. Landscape puts the controls on the side like on desktop. It runs in the browser, nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions

How many rows can I play in Pearl Cascade?

Any number from 8 to 16. More rows give more cups and a wider range of multipliers.

What do the risk levels change?

The payout curve. Low keeps the cups close in value, High makes the edge cups very rich and the middle cups small.

What is Tentacle Burst?

A button that drops six pearls at once. Each pearl is a normal bet at your current stake.

Which cups pay the most?

The two at the far edges. With High risk and 16 rows they pay several hundred times the bet.
