Altitude Zero review: a crash game with a fighter jet
One jet, one multiplier, one decision: when to cash out. How Nocturn Play's crash game works, and how to check that every flight was fair.
Published 4 October 2026 · Updated 5 October 2026 · Nocturn Play
Altitude Zero is a crash game from Nocturn Play: a fighter jet takes off, a multiplier climbs as it gains altitude, and you must cash out before the jet explodes. You can place two bets per flight, set automatic cash-outs that our server executes even if your connection drops, and verify every flight with provably fair SHA-256 seeds. The multiplier can reach 5,000× the bet. The game was released on 30 September 2026 and is free to play on nocturnplay.com.
What a crash game is
Crash games strip gambling down to one question: stay or go? A multiplier starts at ×1 and rises. At an unknown moment the round "crashes". If you cashed out before that, your bet is paid at the multiplier shown when you clicked. If you didn't, that bet is lost. No reels, no symbols, no paytable.
How to play Altitude Zero
- Before take-off, enter your stake. You can use one or both bet panels.
- Optionally set an automatic cash-out, for example at ×2.
- The jet takes off and the multiplier starts climbing.
- Press cash out whenever you want, or let the auto cash-out do it.
- If the jet explodes before you leave, that bet is lost.

Two bets, two plans
The two panels let you run two strategies in the same flight. A common approach: the first bet with an auto cash-out at a modest multiplier to secure something, the second left open to follow the jet higher. Neither choice changes how high the jet will fly; it only changes when you leave.
A flight with two bets
You place 10 euros on panel one with auto cash-out at ×1.8, and 5 euros on panel two with no automation. The jet leaves the runway. At ×1.8 the server cashes out panel one: 18 euros back. You watch the second bet: ×2.5, ×3.4, ×4.1. You press cash out at ×4.1 and receive 20.50 euros. The jet carries on a little further and explodes. Had you waited, the second bet would have been lost.
Auto cash-out handled by the server
Automatic cash-out is not just a browser shortcut. It is executed on our server, which means it still works if your Wi-Fi drops or your phone locks mid-flight. For a game where timing is everything, that matters more than any visual detail.
Provably fair, in plain words
Before each flight, the game shows you a SHA-256 hash of the server seed: a fingerprint of the number that will decide the crash point, published before you bet. After the flight, the seed itself is revealed. Combined with the client seed, you can use the verify button to check that the hash matches and that the crash point follows from those seeds. In short, the result was locked in before you played and could not be changed afterwards.
Who it is for
Altitude Zero is for players who like fast decisions and short rounds. A flight lasts seconds, so the only safe approach is to set limits before you start: a session budget, a stake you are comfortable repeating and, if you like rules, auto cash-outs that stop you from chasing. The history of recent flights and the live player list are there for atmosphere; past flights don't predict the next one.
Altitude Zero vs Aviator and JetX
Spribe's Aviator made the genre mainstream with a little plane that flies away, two bets and auto cash-out. SmartSoft's JetX follows the same idea with a jet. Altitude Zero shares the essentials (two bets, automation, round history, provably fair seeds) and adds the guarantee that your auto cash-out is processed server-side, plus a fighter-jet look that fits the night theme of our studio. Slot players can switch to a reel game with our Gold Rush Outlaws review.

On a phone
The game was designed for upright phones: the flight takes the top of the screen, both bet panels sit underneath within thumb's reach. It plays the same on desktop and tablets.

Frequently asked questions
What is Altitude Zero?
A crash game: a fighter jet climbs, a multiplier rises, and you cash out before it explodes. Max multiplier 5,000×.
Can I place two bets at once?
Yes, two bets per flight, each with its own optional auto cash-out.
What happens to my auto cash-out if I lose connection?
It still happens. Auto cash-out is executed by the server, not by your browser.
What does provably fair mean in Altitude Zero?
You see a SHA-256 fingerprint of the server seed before take-off and the seed itself after landing or explosion, and with the client seed you can verify the result with the verify button.
Is there a strategy to win at crash games?
No strategy changes where the jet explodes. What you control is your stake, when you cash out and your limits.
